UTP Invitational Chess Team Tournament 2014 (National Rated)

Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS Chess Club will organize 

“2^nd UTP Invitational Chess Team Tournament” which will be held as follow:

 

Date: 11^th – 12^th October 2014 (Saturday and Sunday)

Venue: Multi-Purpose Hall, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, 

             Bandar Seri Iskandar, Tronoh, Perak.

Fee: RM160 per team

Format: 7 rounds Swiss System. Team event with 4 players without any reserve player.

Time-control: 45 minutes + 30 seconds increment. All moves must be recorded.

Eligibility: Open to all students from any school or higher learning institution

Prizes:

Champion	RM1000.00 + Certificate + Medals + Trophy
1st runner-up	RM 400.00 + Certificate + Medals
2nd runner-up	RM 300.00 + Certificate + Medals
Fourth	RM 250.00 + Certificate + Medals
Fifth	RM 200.00 + Certificate + Medals
Best Female Team	RM 200.00 + Certificate + Medals
Best IPT Team	Certificate + Medals + Hamper
Best School Team	Certificate + Medals + Hamper
Best Board 1	RM 50.00 + Certificate
Best Board 2	RM 50.00 + Certificate
Best Board 3	RM 50.00 + Certificate
Best Board 4	RM 50.00 + Certificate
